United StatesEverything I Hoped For
I've wanted a Volante jacket for years since seeing them as sketches on Tumblr, and always got punched in the face with some kind of bill before I could get one, but it was worth the long long wait. I love it so much, I wear it everyday. I'm right between 35 and 37 on the sizing chart and a prior consult on a different coat recommended going big. I will say that the Hacker in 37 is actually roomier than I'd typically wear with just a shirt (but fits perfect over a hoodie!), so if you're gunning for a slim fit I'd say go to the smallest you're closest to charting too. Regardless of getting the comfy loose fit though, it still gives me a great outline at the waist, even with the pockets loaded, which just shows how good they are at nailing the design of the cut. I get compliments all the time on this jacket. The quality is top notch: the fabric has such a good weight and texture, the contrast stitching is gorgeous and tight without a loose tail in sight. Absolutely recommend.

This is a gorgeous jacket and it has a lot of nice detail items. The asymmetric zip means the jacket can be worn partially or fully zipped for different looks. I love the detailing like the lining and the inclusion of an interior pocket for your phone or a credit card or wallet. (hard to find this on most women's coats) I've bought other items from Volante and like this jacket, they always exceed my expectations.
