I'm not sure what other words I can use just to say this: Volante Design knows what they are doing. This is a great lighter-weight jacket that I've already worn a couple times at my regular hangouts in Austin. I've received compliments on it, it fits great, and I can wear it without feeling I'm too dressed up for wherever it is I'm going. I love secretly being a Hobbit, and I know I'll be wearing this jacket as much as I can while the weather is cooler.

This is just different enough to catch peoples' eyes without making it seem like you're showing off. It's as carefully made as all the top-end Volante stuff and it fits quite well. It's not super form-fitting but also not shapeless, so if your weight tends to fluctuate a little, it's probably going to fit just as well. It's fairly warm but more breathable than the Augment Blazer. This one's far and away my favorite of the two. The pockets and collar are made of waxed canvas but it has an almost leather-like feel to it. The pockets are also huge, which is a perk if you pick up lots of shinies. I'm eager to break it in a little more, mostly because I think it'll look a little better with some age, especially the elbow patches (which are awesome but a little stiff at first). It feels *very* durable. Overall, I'm very happy with it after a little more than 2 weeks! If I could change one thing, I'd put some more pockets on the inside. Good luck getting one of the 2 left, as of 11/28/21. Just go for it.
