Shipping, Returns, and Exchanges



What is your refund policy? In light of our announcement to close our current operations on February 10th, 2026, we are no longer able to accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.


How long will it take for my order to ship? Orders have a 1-5 business day processing time. Please note we do not ship orders on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday as we are a small business operating on a 4-day work week for the well-being of all our employees. Please keep in mind that if you are choosing an expedited option with early delivery (like next day delivery by 10am), our package pickup window tends to be after the pickup deadline for those expedited options.

Order fulfillment times will be longer than usual given we are short staffed as we wind down operations.


How long does “free” shipping take? Our free shipping option for US orders over $100 is UPS Ground or UPS Ground Saver. The shipping time for this service can range from overnight to locations like New York (as we ship from Massachusetts) to up to a week for west coast addresses. If you’d like to purchase a quicker service, or need your package by a certain date, then upgraded shipping options are available at checkout for an additional charge.


Is my package insured in case of loss or damages? You will see an option to purchase insurance through Route at checkout and we highly recommend you choose to do so! Route protection allows for quick, easy claim filing if your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in any way - their resolution options allow for a refund or replacement order. Please file any claims with Route directly through their website, or email us if you have any questions. Volante Design is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items if you do not purchase insurance.

Do you ship internationally? Volante Design ships with both UPS and USPS to offer delivery to US and international addresses. Please note that certain licensed products (such as our Star Trek and Devil May Cry collections) have location restrictions set by our licensors, which means that we can only ship those products within select regions. Please email us at info@volantedesign.us if you experience any issues shipping to your address.


Does Volante Design ship to APO addresses? Yes. Your item will be sent via USPS.


Who pays customs and import fees? When we ship a package outside of the United States, there may be customs fees or taxes incurred as the package is processed in the destination country. The package may be held by customs until these charges are paid and it is the responsibility of the receiver to pay any import fees associated with their order. Please understand that Volante Design is not responsible for any individual country’s customs fees or taxes.


My jacket arrived damaged or isn’t the size I ordered. What should I do? We try our best to deliver the best possible service in a timely manner. However, everyone makes mistakes. If you did not receive the item you ordered or it is defective, please contact us at info@volantedesign.us as soon as possible and provide a picture of the size tag or the defect. We will do our best to arrange for an exchange or other resolution befitting the situation.
